The Vine Fellowship Church was founded by Pastor John Cox and Lady Lakisha Cox in December 2025, and held its very first worship experience on January 4, 2026, with one mission in mind: to create a place where people could encounter God authentically and be transformed completely.
At the core of who we are are three unwavering convictions:
God wants you healed — not just surviving, not just hiding your pain, but truly restored from the places life tried to break. We believe healing is holy work, and that God still binds wounds, restores identity, and brings people back to life emotionally, spiritually, mentally, and relationally.
God wants you to grow — beyond fear, beyond limitation, beyond the version of yourself that settled for less than purpose. Growth requires stretching, pruning, learning, and becoming. We believe discipleship is not perfection; it is the courageous decision to keep becoming who God created you to be.
God wants you to belong — because no one was created to walk alone. In a world where so many people feel unseen, disconnected, and unheard, we believe the Church should feel like home. A place where grace is real, community is intentional, and people are loved while they are still becoming.
Since our inception, we have witnessed lives transformed because of our commitment to remain true to the heart of God, the truth of His Word, and the assignment He placed on this ministry. We have watched people find their way back to God after years of feeling disconnected from church. We have seen families begin healing conversations, students find covering and community away from home, women rediscover their voice, and leaders emerge who once doubted they had anything to offer.
